RIP Michael Jackson This is a vector created from a photograph of  Strange how much she looks like him....... Photograph by Lars I was originally doing this as kind of a joke, however it is now a tribute. No matter what you felt about Michael Jackson as an individual, it is hard to argue his contributions to the music industry. He was an icon and a legend. Comments Yeah I gotta agree, like him or hate him he did make an impact.

After seeing Thriller again today, and hearing some of the familiar tunes, I can only say we have witnessed history today.
I am saddened. -- I'M not locked up in here with YOU, YOU'RE locked up in here with ME-Rorschach Well behaved women rarely make history. If you can read this, your too close to your monitor. Its amazing how timeless some of his songs are. I was never a big fan, but I do think he is an icon of music history. I do respect him for that.

The Rev. Al Sharpton was talking about him a bit as well as plenty of other celebs commented on his passing on Twitter at least. It was interesting to hear people talk about him.

Personally, I was REALLY upset about Farrah, so when I heard this happening, it was a bit surreal. Now the shock is worn off, and I can see what happened today for what it is, and will be. The stories on TV have helped, and for those of us that grew up at that time (I was in my teens), it really brought back memories. Mostly it made me respect at least who he was, and what he achieved as an artist.

I'm sure a lot of guys were upset, but at least there we had some warning to be honest. With the stories of her getting sick and all you had an idea it was going to happen, didn't have to like but you could see that happening.
In Michael Jackson's case it was so sudden. One day no problem next day boom in the hospital, boom not doing well, boom gone. -- I believe this is a signature, if you believe that you have a signature as well copy and paste this. |
